The Spiritual Detox

Easy to obtain
Best for your body

Hello my Fruity Beauties! We are being distracted by the media so I wanted to touch on the facts…

Spiritual Connection is easy if you understand that you connect directly with God (however God is defined by you) or Source energy. No need to wait for priests, rabbis, imams, or ceremonies. And if you have a good spiritual connection, this connection should help you understand people a bit.

You may be thinking about getting rid of racism and rightly so…But remember the LOA is a Universal Law that is working to bring you whatever you’re thinking about. So, I’m just going to suggest thinking about redefining yourself with qualities that are about peace, equality, fairness, justice, independence, self reliance, empathy, responsibility, instead of the qualities we don’t want to perpetuate. An LOA PSA so to speak.

Detoxing and helping one’s spirit along is easier with the right foods also. Many gurus throughout history have been known to fast in various ways (dry fasting, water fasting, eating only during certain hours) in order to cleanse themselves and have a better spiritual connection. My experience is that this is true!

If that sounds too hard, and especially with hotter months coming, please consider fruit and fruit juice fasting instead. You will get lots of nutrients, along with potassium and Vitamins A & C so you’ll stay well hydrated.

Better clarity is important when making decisions so get fruity and get clear: there is only one human race, and anyone who wishes to can cooperate together in peace.

The news, religious leaders, our friends, our families, politicians are all influencing us to be more like them, choose like them, think like them. Please begin to ground yourself with more meditation and self reflection, so you can be your best daily. Pray for the safety and health and clarity of all beings. Take your own actions to bring peace and equality in whatever way is in Alignment with you.

The Astrology people are saying things are lining up for something big!! I’m believing we’re all in and things are and will get better. Our space-time reality can only be upward movement. RIP George Floyd and all who were taken too soon.

Lotsa love and many blessings, Jen

Some Basic Fruitarian Meals

Photo by Trang Doan on Pexels.com

Good morning, Fruity People! I bet with the New Year, you’re anxious to get started on some fruity meals and feeling the joy of living on fruit, the spirituality and fun that comes from this simple idea.

Some of my clients ask, “WELL, WHAT DO I EAT THEN?” And I know they really mean it and simply eating fruit more is such a new idea, it’s ALMOST UNBELIEVABLE that it works so well and helps so many.

So here are some easy-fast-FRUITY meals to keep your energy high, digestion easy, and life full of deliciousness.

Fruit Detoxing is easy when you keep a lot of fruits on hand, like bananas and berries, but I also stock bottled juice for when I need it. Especially pineapple and orange.

Please note, if you are diabetic, you may need to eat smaller meals to not spike blood sugars. Call me for more information. I have used 20-30-40 units of insulin a day, but when I’m eating mostly fruit, I only take 5-10 units a day. So there are big benefits that are overlooked for diabetics.

Breakfast

Just melons (watermelon, honeydew, cantaloupe) all by themselves, as much as you desire

Easy Tropical Morning Smoothie

About 2 cups of Pineapple and/or Orange Juice, possibly more

2 Bananas, 1 cup of Berries

A handful of coconut or chia seed for thickness/taste

You can add some Kale or Spinach, I prefer Kale because it’s higher in Vitamin C, but just enough to enjoy.

Directions: Blend all ingredients in Blender, add more juice for your desired preferences. Frozen bananas and berries make for a dessert/ice cream like texture. Pour into glass and enjoy.

Make extra to bring some in a thermos for your day.

Lunch

1 Apple, 1 Orange, 1 cup of Grapes

1 Glass of Coconut Water

Snack

Celery Sticks

Snack

Pear, Berries (Blueberries), Grapes, and Banana

Dinner

If you are super fruity, you may want more melons, juices, or just plain fruits for dinner.

If you are new to detoxing, you would likely want to have a cooked yam and a dark leafy green salad with tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and some avocado.

More Snacks

Dates before bed

Miscellaneous

If you are finding yourself thirsty, you can have herbal teas like lemon balm or any detox type tea. Yogi tea and Traditional Medicinals make a few. Some people still want coffee in the morning, but it’s something that you should wean yourself off of with some time. First switch to half regular, half decaf, then switch to green tea, then move to decaf herbal teas or keep a little green tea or matcha green tea in your diet.

The fruit based diet is great for anyone who is overweight, has hormonal imbalances, or wants to heal from anything. It does not mean you won’t ever have a deficiency in a vitamin or mineral though! It’s best to try these things and make adjustments as you go along.

Almost everyone I have had as a client tells me, “I didn’t realize that you could eat mostly fruit (and feel good), and it turns out, I feel the best eating fruit”. Everyone is a skeptic, until they ACTUALLY try it.

I’m just speaking up for the miseducation of people, because I’m a type 1 diabetic since I was 17. I was told to eat minimal protein to protect my kidneys–THANK GOD my doctor did tell me that, but beyond that, most nutritionists and doctors haven’t had a clue about how to best deal with diabetes.

Most doctors advocate for eating almost anything, then just taking the “correct” amount of insulin for that. BIG MISTAKE!!

If you’re diabetic, you should be eating less of the foods that make you take insulin, and more fruit, because fruit sugar is fructose, it doesn’t require insulin (sometimes you won’t need any but over time you’ll take less).

Only glucose requires insulin, and glucose is in complex carbs, simple sugars like sucrose, all vegetables, all proteins and fats turn into glucose as well. So all of these foods make you take or make insulin.

Fructose is the best kept secret in the natural world!!

If you don’t understand, just ask. If you really want to detox your body from toxins and poor diet choices, you likely have some time to do it. 2020 is a great year for everyone to get back to more fruit.

By the way, blood sugars still go up if you eat fruit. That ‘s normal, BUT you simply lessen your insulin resistance by eating fruit. If you eat a lot of fruit, you’ll be more sensitive to insulin. If you eat only a little, you won’t see as good results.

I’m happy to help you get started, with coaching packages that make sense! 848-232-8392 to reserve a time/day.

Rates for Detox Coaching

Phone Detox Coaching Sessions are easy and private. You can purchase one session at a time, but truthfully, it saves you money if you do the monthly package, and is the most effective at helping you with what your health goals are. It’s best to be consistent and gradual in your changes for much of what we’ll discuss, BUT regular coaching times also keep you consistently progressing toward those goals.

Most people need many months if not years, to detox enough to make a difference in their bodies. Someone with cancer, injuries, reflux, hormonal issues, heart problems, etc…it took years to probably manifest that within the body, so plan on taking time to remove problems as well. There are no guarantees, only hope, love, and willingness to TRY. (Don’t forget some people still need to be under a regular doctors care throughout, like if you are tapering off a medication.)

HOLIDAY BOGO is going on right now until DEC 31st, 2019. Keep one for yourself and give one, keep both, or give both!

NOT SURE? I’m always here for a quick consult at 848-232-8392. You can text me from 9 am-7 pm any day to set one up a consult before you make a decision.

Monthly Package–$300

Week 1: Detox Coaching Session, 60 minutes. You will fill out forms prior to coaching session. You will be given shopping lists for what foods to buy (mostly fruits and veggies) and what herbs and/or supplements to take, and food journal information. I’ll explain the diet practices and you’ll decide on a plan that works for you. Q&A time.

Week 2-4: Detox Coaching Sessions, 30 minutes each. Getting used to new diet and supplements, troubleshooting, and Q&A.

I’ll be available for quick emails or calls as well/included. Since I am also a Law of Attraction Coach and Reiki Master Teacher, I am open to adding these other specialties for part of the coaching time, or you may pay separately for those if desired.

You may space out your calls every two weeks if desired, or work out a plan with me for monthly maintenance after you’re achieving your goals. Get in touch if you need clarification about the way I do the calls.

Appointment times are strictly adhered to, always text/call if there is a change Please. And I’d do the same for you.

Example plan for someone wanting coaching: Months 1-2, weekly calls, then space out to Months 3-6 every other week, after that Months 7-and beyond, once a month calls. As needed after that. Because there will always be troubleshooting–it’s necessary and important to listen carefully to your body. If a food or supplement is or isn’t right for you, must be discussed thoroughly. This is why the frequency with coaching is so important. Because if you feel on your own, sometimes it’s just DAMN HARD to stay in detox mode. If you’ve chosen the support through coaching or community, you’re more likely to keep going safely.

In person classes are posted for individual classes as they come up, ranging from $25-50 usually for a Detox Talk/Group Class. Classes are located in Brick, NJ and after you sign up for my Herbal Health Club, you are welcome to come to the office. Exact address will be given after paperwork is processed.

Ten Fruits a Day Challenge

Being Fruitarian, it’s not really a challenge to eat some fruits every day. But what about when you’re first starting out?

Are you trying to lose weight, manage unbearable symptoms like pain, or cut down on your medications? You might just want to eat more fruits.

This whole website is about detoxing using fruit and herbs to allow the body to clean itself, so get ready to get FRUITY!

Examples of eating ten fruits a day:

  • Bowl of watermelon (2 servings), 2 glasses of orange juice, 3 bananas, 2 apples, blueberries.
  • 3 bananas, 2 apples, 3 oranges, and 1 pound of grapes (2 servings).
  • 2 cups of coconut water, 3 bananas, 2 oranges, 2 apples, raisins.

You can obviously make smoothies, but it’s best to keep fruits alone for fruit only meals. It’s better for digestion, so resist the urge to throw protein/fats/veggies into the smoothie while you’re starting out. You can still eat other foods, but with this kind of detox system, you
will just eat less of them naturally.

You will likely feel better, maybe even get some spiritual moments and intuition and synchronicities happening as you clean yourself from the inside out.

Life becomes much more joyous, and you will have more free time because you aren’t rushing to prepare complex meals. Relaxation can actually take place! Children LOVE fruit in most cases, and adults who usually thought of fruit as dessert will rejoice that they are allowed to EAT it!

Who is taking the Ten Fruits a Day Challenge? I know I am! I’m here for your support in Detox Coaching! Much love from Jen C.

Grape Juice Fasting

Wondering about grape juice fasting?  I was led to find out about juice fasting when I had some gall bladder issues, and I am so fortunate that someone told me about it.  I was thrilled to find that juice fasting worked well, because I literally couldn’t eat anything at the time.  Water fasting has worked for many, but it wasn’t as safe for me because I’ve been a type 1 diabetic since I was a teen.  I’d always wanted to water fast, and soon found a good reason–my gallbladder–and I was “forced’ to fast.

Over a period of months, I went from having gallbladder pain all day, to having no pain whatsoever now.  Just from adding a lot of fruit to my diet, dry fasting, juice fasting, and grape juice fasting for portions of the day, and sometimes for days at a time, and using healing herbs to help. It is funny how the Universe lines us up with whatever we really do need and believe.

It worked because the fruits and herbs really do heal!  So if you have been thinking about a fruit juice fast–and there are many types–why not try a grape juice fast first?

The benefits of grape juice fasting are:

  • Simple way to some weight loss,
  • Antioxidants like resveratrol in large amounts,
  • Cleansing your lymph system where the acids are creating inflammation, (Some people like to add a lot of lemon juice to do even more detoxing, see Grape Juice Fasting with Lemons)
  • Clarity,
  • Focus shifts from eating/drinking for hours a day TO having free time to do other fun things.
  • You are getting the natural electrolytes in the fruit, so it’s safer than water fasting.
  • Since doctors don’t approve of or understand fasting, you can have a detox specialist to help you through it.
  • Detoxing is easy and fun, and when you see results, you will feel inspired to keep going.
  • Some health concerns that may improve are:  blood pressure, cholesterol levels, overall circulatory health, brain and neurological functioning, diabetes, liver and gallbladder functioning, skin health, acne, eczema, psoriasis, reproductive health, bone health, allergies, respiratory health, and especially endocrine health–literally everything.

The drawbacks to a grape juice fast are:

  • You might lose some weight,
  • It only costs a few dollars a day, so you’ll save money,
  • Your friends, family, and coworkers will label you a health nut and bother you with seriously nasty and judgmental comments,
  • Most doctors don’t approve of or understand why you would want to do a fast of any type because they don’t make money on them if you create a better body for yourself, so you may feel isolated without a detox specialist.
  • Becoming an positive and powerful advocate for yourself can be exhausting!
  • Truth be told, you may get headaches and some detox symptoms, but they can be handled rather easily.
  • There may be some folks out there who should not fast, but it’s worth a call in here to find out!

Some people would do better on other types of fasts, and they can all be used on an ongoing basis for overall health and longevity.  See Fasting for more info.
